The Award-Winning film, The Other Side of Cannabis: Negative Effects of Marijuana on Our Youth, will help you to understand today’s marijuana through interviews with researchers and other professionals, as well as a variety of individuals whose lives were negatively impacted by this drug.
The film is geared to youth, educators, students, parents, family members, medical and health professionals, counselors and media, in addition to recovery/treatment center programs, behavioral health departments, law enforcement, and others who influence our youth. The film is not about legalization nor medicinal marijuana treatments.
While components of marijuana (CBDs) may be appropriate to use medicinally under proper medical guidance for those truly in need, the message that marijuana is safe, natural and harmless as a recreational substance, must be weighed against the evidence of associated risks.
OSC is an independent film created by ordinary citizens with no political or economic affiliations or interests, other than bringing attention to the negative effects of marijuana on our youth–adolescents, teenagers and young adults whose brains are still forming. In order to make an informed decision to use marijuana, it is important to know the potential risks.
